Since January 2015, Café Momentum has worked with over 1,200 youth through our paid internship program. We have seen firsthand that young people can achieve their full potential with the right support and care.
Through the Momentum model, we provide a transformative experience through a paid internship program designed to provide 12-months of curriculum for justice-involved youth, ages 15-19. Our interns rotate through all aspects of the restaurant, focusing on life and social skills, coaching and development.
Café Momentum’s flagship location in Dallas, Texas, opened in 2015 with expansion underway. The Café Momentum location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania opened in March 2023. The Atlanta, Georgia location will open in the fall of 2024.
