Steelers Safety Miles Killebrew On My Cause My Cleats and Café Momentum Pittsburgh
December 7, 2024
Every holiday season, pro football players get a chance to promote causes and organizations that are close to their hearts. Through the My Cause My Cleats campaign, players step on the field wearing customized cleats sporting the logos, names, and messages of non-profit organizations doing good work in their local communities.
Philanthropic community Stand Together is there to help connect players with the most effective and innovative non-profit leaders who are transforming issues they care about most. For 2024, Stand Together worked with three pro football players around My Cause My Cleats, helping them tell stories about their social impact work and the outsized effect the organizers are having.
The Stand Together My Cause My Cleats partnerships include: Tampa Bay running back Rachaad White supporting CarePortal ; New Orleans linebacker Demario Davis supporting Stand Together, which partners with thought leaders to transform education from a one-size-fits-all system to learning that’s tailored to each student’s unique gifts; and Pittsburgh safety Miles Killebrew and his work with Café Momentum Pittsburgh , which utilizes the restaurant environment to equip justice-involved youth with skills, confidence, and opportunities that empower them to thrive.
