Our logic model

Café Momentum’s logic model shows the steps necessary for our organization to transform young lives. The logic model outlines how each activity will lead to desired change.

In it, you can find our program materials and resources (inputs), the strategies and activities we implement and the specific results we strive to achieve (outputs and outcomes).

This model helps us clearly communicate our goals, monitor progress and make data-driven decisions to better support our interns and community.

The goal of Café Momentum

Create a safe space, within a social enterprise restaurant setting, for youth involved with the justice system to cultivate their social-emotional well-being and sense of agency, and to acquire education and workforce skills that build a foundation for adulthood and prevent further justice system involvement.

Contact Dr. Porshia Haymon to learn more about our approach and methodology.

What is this logic model based on?

This logic model is informed by Café Momentum staff and evidence-based practices and research in youth development, economic mobility and human flourishing. It is also guided by Café Momentum’s goal statement. This statement aligns with the long-term outcomes of the logic model.
