Stewart Williams

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Stewart Williams brings over 30 years of executive leadership in nonprofits to Café Momentum Atlanta. With a proven track record of leading dynamic teams, managing volunteers, and developing sustainable strategies, Stewart’s dedication to community betterment is unparalleled.

Previously, Stewart served as the Managing Director of Talent Development for OneTen, a coalition aimed at advancing one million Black individuals without four-year degrees into sustainable careers. He played a key role in pioneering market strategies and building partnerships across major regions, including Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and the Northeast.

From 2018 to 2022, Stewart was the Vice President of Operations at The Warrior Alliance, significantly increasing veteran services and overseeing a $2 million budget. He also held executive roles at The Mission Continues, Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Atlanta, and the YMCA, demonstrating his commitment to community impact.

Stewart holds a Master’s Degree from Hampton University in Community Counseling and is a Leadership Atlanta alumnus. He is a member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta and a board member of Career Rise. Stewart is also a decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm.

Sean Robinson

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS

Sean Robinson has dedicated his life to serving others. He first served as a combat medic in the United States Army, where he helped spearhead their Consideration of Others efficiency program, which shaped the culture and workplace environment Army wide. Since then, he has been a thought leader in workforce development for almost 16 years, from speaking across the country on national workforce training advisory committees to working in local communities assisting youth, returning citizens, and seniors alike in workforce development best practices, using an innovative, evidence-based methodology based in a trauma-informed paradigm. Sean is a Master Trainer, in adverse childhood experiences for the state of Maryland, mental health first aid instructor and a certified professional coach. 

Outside of his many professional ventures, Sean considers himself to be a sports enthusiast, and as a Baltimore native, an avid Ravens fanatic. When he isn’t spending time with family, you will most likely find him in pursuit of a great cup of coffee while reading a good book and/or facilitating great conversations.

Nyaboke Machini

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Nyaboke Machini is the Director of Development, responsible for overseeing fundraising efforts. With 15 years of experience working in nonprofits, K-12 schools, and higher education, she excels at building community by connecting donors to causes they are passionate about, particularly in the field of youth development. Her journey in philanthropy began at the University of Georgia, where she worked as a counselor and marketing intern for the Boys and Girls Club of Athens, fostering deep connections with the local youth. She was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and identifies as Kenyan Peach. She lives in Marietta with her husband and two sons, and in her free time, enjoys hosting friends and exploring new hobbies. Nyaboke is always on a mission to do all the good she can with all the means she can.

Clarence Griffin

General Manager

Clarence Griffin is a dedicated professional based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a strong background in Hospitality. With a proven track record of success in restaurant management, Clarence has displayed exceptional skills in team development, financial management, inventory control, and menu innovation. Known for their innovative approach and strategic thinking, Clarence has successfully led projects that have impacted the food scene across the country with brands such as Five Iron Golf, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, Chido and Padres and The Blind Pig Parlour. Clarence is committed to continuous learning and professional development, always striving to bring value and excellence to their work. Clarence is also a decorated veteran of the United States Army serving as an Infantryman on multiple deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Clarence is a highschool graduate of the Georgia Army National Guard Youth Challenge Academy in Fort Eisenhower Georgia, as well as obtaining a BBA from South University in Savannah Georgia.

Outside of their professional endeavors, Clarence’s greatest achievement is being a father of two daughters Latayshia and Aija. He enjoys time watching and attending sporting events and having family adventures with his daughters.
