Café Momentum is going virtual this year as part of its 5th annual signature North Texas Giving Day event, Momentum Live. In partnership with Allstate Insurance, the event is the Dallas nonprofit’s version of a telethon that includes celebrity guests, chefs and musical entertainment, including the Café Momentum interns who will be sharing their talents.

Help Café Momentum reach its goal this year of $150,000 and continue to transform young lives by equipping the community’s most at-risk youth with life skills, education and employment opportunities. Café Momentum is a nonprofit restaurant in downtown Dallas that provides a 12-month paid post-release internship program for youth coming out of juvenile detention. By teaching critical skills to youth in a safe, real-world environment, the transformative program offers interns experience in all aspects of the restaurant, as well as an ecosystem of support and nurturing accountability.
