CAFÉ MOMENTUM?
Through the Momentum model, we provide a transformative experience through a 12-month paid internship program for justice-involved youth. Our interns rotate through all aspects of the restaurant, focusing on life and social skills, coaching and development.
Café Momentum’s flagship location in Dallas, Texas, opened in 2015 with expansion underway. Nashville, Tennessee, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, are both slated to open in 2022. Expansion is made possible through the fiscal sponsorship of Momentum Advisory Collective.

We’ve reimagined the way life skills are handed down to the next generation of foodservice workers. With our guidance, our young culinary professionals hone their craft by proudly serving fresh, locally sourced, sophisticated new American cuisine in the nation’s largest cities. Each and every meal is prepared and served to you by our award-winning team of chefs and the young men and women involved in our program.

Our Food Trucks
In Dallas, we call it our “Rolling Momentum.” Food trucks allow us to spread our mission to others whom might not be able to make it into the restaurant.
Ruthie's
Ruthie's Fueled by Café Momentum provides fellowship opportunities for individuals leaving the Café Momentum program. Fellows will work on the Ruthie’s food truck and have the opportunity to become change agents in their own communities through Ruthie’s Snacks of Kindness.
Baldo's
Baldo's Fueled by Café Momentum offers more interns finishing our program a place to work after Cafe Momentum, to extend their skills in the industry and provide them with a safe, welcoming place to continue to grow!
